about me
Diamonndlee is a visual artist specializing in realism, portraiture, and digital design. She received her Associate’s degree in Fine Arts from San Jacinto College in 2021 and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts at the University of Houston-Clear Lake expected to graduate May 2025. While her formal education provided a foundation, her true experience was cultivated through hands-on experience throughout the years starting back in 2013. Skilled in Adobe software and traditional media, she applies her knowledge to create her art and designs while primarily focusing on portrait commissions and digital graphic design, bringing clients’ ideas to life. Her portfolio led her to receive the president's award from the Forest Bend Fire Department in 2018 for her volunteer work creating signage for the department and led to receiving a reward for the 2025 UHCL BFA Art Exhibition show. She continues to create for herself as well as others and hopes to grow in her career and portfolio.

artist statement
Much of my work is deeply influenced by personal relationships and, more recently, a significant life event, the passing of my father. His support played a major role in my artistic journey, and his loss has had a huge impact on me. As a result, I find myself creating pieces that honor his memory and legacy, allowing my art to become both a form of remembrance and a way to process my emotions.
I have always been amazed by different artistic styles, but realism has captivated me the most. Since childhood, I’ve aspired to reach that level of depth and detail in my portraits. My process is pretty straightforward, I usually find something that catches my interest and begin creating from there. While I mostly do digital graphic design now, my traditional work is mostly graphite and charcoal but recently I have begun to incorporate color to enhance my portfolio.
Beyond personal themes, my digital work is driven by a desire to create visually appealing and thoughtful designs. Whether it’s a business logo, an advertisement, or even a restaurant menu, I often find myself imagining how it could be refined and elevated.
At the end of the day everything I create is a way to express myself, whether it’s through a portrait that captures a memory of a loved one or a design that feels clean and balanced. I create for myself, as a way to process, reflect, and bring my ideas to life. As I continue to evolve as an artist and designer, I aim to create what inspires me and keep exploring new ways to grow in my work.
